Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm passionate about building products that combine hardware and software into practical, polished solutions. I love taking an idea from a blank sheet of paper through PCB design, firmware, CAD, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
Through university and my personal projects, I've gained experience with embedded systems, custom PCBs, IoT devices, and software. But I'm rarely satisfied when something simply works. Okay, the window moves—how do I automate it? If CO₂ exceeds 1000 ppm, should it open? What if it's below freezing outside? How do I add position control—Time-of-Flight or a potentiometer? Is it foolproof? PETG or PLA for the enclosure?
I'll dig until I understand how it works inside-out, and every other solution was considered. The consequence - two weeks later, I'll find five random photos of machine-screw schematics in my camera roll.
I'm particularly interested in embedded systems, consumer electronics, automation, and connected devices. I enjoy solving technical problems, learning new technologies, and creating products that people genuinely find useful.

Outside of Engineering
Outside of engineering, I enjoy designing and building things in the workshop, experimenting with new technologies, creating personal electronics projects, and continuously learning new skills. I believe the best way to grow as an engineer is by building real products and solving real problems.
And when I'm not calculating tolerances in CAD, I channel any leftover creativity into my filmmaking business at SolidClip Media.
